We are curious because we have never received a review like this before. Our Firming Body Oil contains no olive oil (nor do any of our products) but a blend of premium refined functional oils; Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil and Grapeseed Oil – none of which have an aroma as you describe. Our hope was that you would be able to smell the ingredient essential oils of Bergamot, Grapefruit Clary Sage, among others, so we are disappointed that you were not able to enjoy those. That said, everyone has a unique olfactory sense and it may be that is just how yours interprets those ingredients.
Regarding the texture, as this is a Firming Oil containing high performance actives which need to be massaged in to the skin while increasing blood flow, it must have enough slip to stay on the surface long enough to massage with a texture that creates some friction. If you are looking for something lighter, we could recommend the Dry Body Oil, which is super light and ultra-fast absorbing. Please check your inbox, we have a suggestion we think you will like.
