How to use

FACIAL OIL

Olverum Pure Radiance Facial Oil is easily applied by gentle fingertip massage, but its mind and body wellness benefits can be further enhanced through the Olverum Self-Massage routine (see below). Specially developed as both a detoxifying treatment and a relaxing, beautifying ritual, it combines elements of Shiatsu (finger pressure) and Gua Sha (scraping) techniques, and can be performed at home in a maximum of two minutes, daily or weekly as you wish. Please see detailed instructions inside pack.

Take 3-5 drops in the palm of your hand and rub your hands together to warm the oil. Cup your hands around your nose and mouth and take a moment to inhale the aroma. After each deep breath, sweep your hands over your face and neck as you exhale three times.

Precautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Rinse off and discontinue use if you experience irritation. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed. Store away from direct sunlight.

CLEANSING BALM

Massage onto dry skin, allowing the balm to dissolve makeup and impurities. Add warm water to emulsify into a silky milk, then rinse thoroughly or remove with a damp cloth for an indulgent, residue-free finish.

For best results, use daily.

Precautions: For external use only. Do not apply to irritated or broken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. If product gets into the eyes, rinse well with water immediately.

Does the Pure Radiance Facial Oil work as well as retinol for anti-ageing without the irritation?

Yes. The formulation features natural retinol alternatives from Cacay Oil to refine tone and texture, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (stable Vitamin C) to brighten, and Meadowfoam Oil to support the barrier, the oil visibly plumps and illuminates. Unlike traditional retinol which can cause inflammation, Cacay Oil delivers anti-aging benefits without adverse effects. It's vegan and cruelty-free, free from artificial preservatives, fragrances, colourants, silicone, mineral oil, petrolatum, sulphates, parabens and triclosan. The aromachological blend is calming without synthetic irritants.

Will this cleansing balm leave my skin feeling tight or stripped?

Unusually excellent skincare

I am 76 years of age and was an Air Stewardess in the days when immaculate presentation was de rigueur. I have maintained that standard of personal care during my entire adult life, trying many skin care regimes, mostly extremely expensive. Having now moved to the Welsh border, I discovered a little shop selling an assortment of interesting things, Welsh blankets, incense and some of the Olverum range, which I bought. I was absolutely thrilled with my purchase and traced the company on line. The company history made interesting reading and I purchased the cleanser, Facial Oil, Day Cream and Night Cream. Already, after only a couple of week's use, my face is softer, feels nourished and looks radiant. The oil disappears into the skin, as does the Day or Night cream, leaving a good base for makeup or, at night, a comforting bedtime routine. I am thrilled to have discovered this company and their wonderful products. An eye cream would be a welcome addition to their lovely, simple and uncomplicated range. The prices are not expensive in comparison to the well known 'high end' skin care companies, Packaging faultless and generous amount of product in the jar or dispenser.
