What you will do-
- Drive ambitious, profitable, and sustainable growth to the business, achieving agreed forecasts, plans, targets and budgets for the development of existing and new customers.
- Specialist in developing strong customer relationships, long term partnerships & achieving priority positioning for Olverum.
- Direct management of all major wholesale accounts, maintaining and building new relationships.
- Organise regular sales meetings with retailers to analyse performance and agree joint business plans.
- Work with instore teams – checking on, space, location, stock availability. Identify where improvements could be made and implement.
- Implement scheme to incentivise sales staff and meet sales goals.
- Improve sell through of existing retail partners and offer training where needed
- Manage the training of retailer sales staff.
- Identify and build a prioritized list of suitable retailer leads.
- Approach and sell in to approved prospects, maximizing all sales opportunities whilst staying within branding guidelines.
- Work with Brand Manager to ensure brand guidelines are maintained.
- Manage online retailers and work to improve sales, stock availability and brand visibility.
- Regularly meet with buying teams and in store teams to help improve sales, discover our rankings within stores and departments and using that to identify support needed
- Communicate with training managers, booking regular Teams meetings for education and to stay popular, working out with teams any obstacles they face with retailing Olverum and finding solutions
- Managing new account set up
- Manage NPL with retail partners-Forecast pipe, initial sell-through and annual sell through expectation along with strategy to support
- Offering brand pop ups- working on site as a brand specialist
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A competent-finisher; enthusiastic by nature yet self-driven for results
- Strong analytical competencies. Ability to analyse business identifying key opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Elevated skills in partnership and negotiation for long lasting retailer relationships
- Excellent problem-solving, written & communication skills
- Sound retail operational knowledge, profit focused
- Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans within a retail environment
- A born multi-tasker who is agile
- Previous experience managing relationships in department stores/ retailer partnerships within the UK market
- Experience in luxury skincare wholesale sales.
- You will have experience working with the big luxury department stores, spas and lifestyle stores
- Established relationships with the top UK retailers a bonus
- Beauty qualification is a plus but not essential
- A natural multi-tasker with excellent organizational and time management skills
