Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant who’s passionate about wellbeing, beauty, and storytelling to join our dynamic team and help bring our brand to life across multiple touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Support- Collaborate with the marketing team on planning, executing, and reporting on multi-channel campaigns.
- Support the creation of compelling marketing materials, including email newsletters, website content, and press releases.
- Liaise with external agencies, designers, and PR teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assets.
2. Collaboration with Social Media Manager
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to align on campaign strategies and ensure consistency across channels.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for social content, campaigns, and influencer collaborations.
- Track and report on social media-driven performance metrics in alignment with broader marketing goals.
3. Community Management
- Monitor and engage with the Olverum community across digital platforms, responding to customer queries, reviews, and comments in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
- Amplify customer stories, reviews, and user-generated content to nurture brand loyalty.
- Coordinate with Customer Service to address product-related questions or concerns and ensure timely resolutions.
4. E-commerce and Website Support
- Assist in updating website content, such as product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages, ensuring brand consistency and SEO best practices.
- Monitor website analytics and contribute ideas to enhance customer journeys and conversion rates.
5. Market Research and Reporting
- Conduct research on beauty and wellness trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide reports on marketing campaign performance and market insights to inform future strategies.
6. Event Coordination
- Assist in planning and executing marketing activations, trade shows, and events, working with internal and external teams to manage logistics.
- Act as an on-brand representative during events, engaging with press, influencers, and customers.
7. Administrative Support
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks, such as maintaining marketing calendars, tracking budgets, and coordinating deliveries.
- Maintain databases for press, influencers, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in a marketing or assistant role, preferably within the beauty, wellness, or luxury industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and tools, including email marketing software (e.g., Klaviyo) and basic website CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify).
Desirable:
- Experience working in a team setting with cross-functional roles, such as social media or PR.
- Knowledge of SEO and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- A passion for beauty, wellness, or luxury products and trends.
